Spermicide is inexpensive, and you can find it in most drugstores.

Where can I buy spermicides?

Spermicide is sold over-the-counter online and at pharmacies, drugstores, and some supermarkets and grocery stores. You can also find spermicides at some family planning clinics and Planned Parenthood health centers. You don’t need a prescription and there are no age restrictions — anybody can buy spermicide.

How much does spermicide cost?

Spermicide prices vary depending on the type and brand, but it usually costs between 60 cents and $3 per dose, or about $8-15 per kit.

You may be able to get low-cost or free spermicide at Planned Parenthood and other community health centers. Contact your local Planned Parenthood health center for more information.
